Rainfall Forecast Discussion Updated Fri May 24, 2013 10:37 a.m. Over the next five days a pattern of rainfall will move out of the northern Rockies and into the Plains, then eventually the Great Lakes. The rain will start in the Plains on this Friday and move into Iowa Saturday. Then the rain will hold in the western cornbelt for a few days before moving out into the Great Lakes on Tuesday and Wednesday.
